Annual WNYRS Ordering & Sale Of Miniature Roses

OUR ANNUAL GROUP ORDERING & SALE OF MINIATURES is held during the Fall-Winter of each year.

BENEFIT: The benefit is to provide members with the ability to purchase high quality roses at discount prices. The Miniature Roses available for purchase through the group plan are very highly rated (8+, some 9+) based on the ARS Roses In Review (RIR) Program scores and are proven winners at local, district, and national shows. An ARS RIR score is the average garden performance rating for the variety as determined in the ARS RIR national survey.

PROCEDURE:

  • The list of available Miniature Roses is distributed to members at the Fall-Winter meetings, via the WNYRS Newsletters, and in the Members Only section of this WNYRS website.
  • Order forms are made available to members at the Fall-Winter meetings, in the WNYRS Fall-Winter Newsletters, and in the Members Only section of this WNYRS website.
  • Members need to submit their orders to Kim Mehnert no later than the April WNYRS meeting.
  • Payment is due when roses are picked up. Make checks payable to: WNY Rose Society.
  • Roses are made available for pick up upon receipt from the vendor. The roses are available for pick-up on a specified weekend in mid-April, or arrangements may be made for a different pick-up date-time. Remaining roses are brought to the April meeting for pick-up.
