The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library is an excellent source of books and media on rose topics. The library consists of the Central Library in downtown Buffalo and 36 Branch Libraries in the different areas of the city and suburbs. All Erie County residents enjoy free use of the library's resouces.
You can easily use the resources of the entire B&ECP Library system from your home or office computer or from your local branch library.- You can use the Library's Internet website (from your home, office, or local library) to search the catalog of the entire library system and request any books and media, regardless as to where they are housed (whether at the Central Library or any Branch Library).
- You can have the requested books and media delivered to your local branch library for your convenient pickup and return.
- In addition to the Library's large book collection, you can use the Library's media items including both video and audio tapes, CDs, and DVDs.

- Bob Bauer's Rose Website - Provides information on roses, tips on how to photograph roses, a showcase of Bob's growing collection of rose photographs, and links to other useful websites.
- EveryRose - The Rose Reference Database - Search for roses by name, colour and many other characteristics. Or simply Browse through the Rose Reference Database of over 7,500 roses & 2,700 photos. Learn about other Gardeners' Experiences with specific roses, and look for Rose Sources where you can order roses and supplies.
- HelpMeFind.com Roses - A site devoted to roses and all that is rose related, including selecting, buying, breeding, caring for and exhibiting. The website developers have cataloged over 28,000 roses and have more than 42,000 photos along with thousands of rose nurseries, public and private gardens, rose societies, authors, breeders, hybridizers and publications from all over the world.
- Rosarian.com - A site focusing on roses and the gardeners who cultivate them. This site offers a compendium of the various resources at GardenWeb related to roses.
- Rosarian's Corner - This forum provides a community for rose enthusiasts to discuss all facets of roses and their care with expert rosarian's providing knowledgeable first hand information.

- GardenWeb - Gardening Community - A garden resource that provides forums; an exchange facility; a garden bazaar; a directory of organizations, gardens, societies, etc.; a question and answer capability; and more.
- P-Pod Image Library - P-Pod is an image library focusing on horticultural, gardening and environmental pictures. It has been created by people from a horticultural and botanical background and features plants, flowers, trees, shrubs, fungi, fruit, vegetables and much more. The collection contains over 3000 named pictures of roses, for the most part taken in the UK.
- Rochester Gardening - A web site whose purpose is to encourage the transfer of information relating to the varied interests of gardeners living near Rochester, NY. This is accomplished by presenting some material which is local in content, and links to numerous resources found elsewhere on the Internet. The web site includes special features, an events calendar, garden/plant information, and information on garden/plant societies.
- Upstate Gardeners' Journal - A regional magazine dedicated to the interests of gardeners in the upstate New York area. Features stories about area gardens and gardeners, how specific plants perform in the area, and similar topics of regional interest. Published every other month. Covers Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester, Syracuse and surrounding territories.

- Niagara Frontier Orchid Society - Promotes the culture and enjoyment of orchids, and aims to further every member's orchid-related knowledge. Moreover, the Society is dedicated to encourage the protection of orchids and their conservation in natural habitats around the world.
